Tickets to Christmas at Hatfield Park, in Hertfordshire, are now on sale for a new spectacular seasonal trail running between 25 November and 31 December 2022.

Built by Robert Cecil, in the grounds where Queen Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood, Jacobean Hatfield Park’s 42 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland is home to centuries of historical treasures. It’s a place where new traditions can be made, a place designed for picture-perfect gatherings.

Look forward to some precious time with friends and family as you discover sparkling tunnels of light, walk under giant baubles and beneath glistening trees drenched in jewel-like colour.

For a moment of reflection pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, gaze at the larger-than-life illuminations and, to make a moment to remember, don’t forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way.

The lights are choreographed to a soundtrack of much-loved seasonal music, transforming Hatfield’s majestic park into an instant winter wonderland.

Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist with tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with friends and family. Everyone loves toasting a marshmallow over an open fire and the artisan *marshmallow stall gives visitors the chance to warm their hands and enjoy this sweet outdoor tradition.

The trees, bulbs, plants and fruit trees, which had never before been grown in England, have crafted the inspiring and fragrant gardens you can explore and enjoy today.
