On Monday night the Australian Hotels Association Western Australia (AHA WA) hosted the 2022 Accommodation Awards for Excellence in Perth. Widely recognised as one of Western Australia's premier awards nights, the unmissable event celebrated the best of the best in the hospitality industry, and recognised hotel teams' pursuit of excellence despite the challenging landscape over the past two years.

Marriott International's incredible portfolio of Perth hotels, which include The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, Aloft Perth, Four Points by Sheraton Perth and The Westin Perth, won the top awards across eight categories, cementing Marriott's reputation as a leader in the travel and hospitality space.

General Manager at The Westin Perth, Peter Brampton, was inducted into the Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame, joining the leaders in the industry in the highly regarded category recognising his dedication to the industry over the years.

A finalist in 13 categories, The Ritz-Carlton, Perth won awards in 4 categories, including the Deluxe Accommodation Award and the Hotel Wine List Award, whilst the hotel's exceptional Ladies and Gentlemen took home two staff awards: Alienor Vidon, Assistant Reservations Manager won the Hotel Front Office Award, and Janney Gan, Assistant Director of Sales won the Hotel Sales and Marketing Award.

Nominated across 8 categories, Aloft Perth took home 3 top prizes, including the Superior Accommodation Award. The incredible staff at the hotel were recognised for their achievements with Jessica Mamales winning the Hotel Food and Beverage Award, and Liam Pearson winning the Hotel Coference and Events Award.
