4 PINES PUTS DOWN NEW ROOTS IN THE HUNTER

The country's most visited wine region has long been calling out for a destination like what 4 Pines Brewing Company have created together with long time hospitality Helé family, known as 4 Pines at the Farm, where beer lovers, groups, friends and families can gather and enjoy great brews.

Hunter Farm is conveniently located on Hermitage Road Pokolbin at the heart of the famed region which attracts more than 3 million visitors every year and is home not only to 4 Pines at The Farm, but Hunter Valley Resort, Hunter Farm + Adventure Centre and Hunter Valley Horse Riding.

With the avalanche of Sydneysiders fleeing after Covid restrictions on travel, 4 Pines Brewing Company have put the finishing touches to the new taproom and bistro with views across the vines and valley, and all-day sunshine on the wide breezy verandas.

There are twelve 4 Pines brews on tap including the famed Pale Ale, Extra Refreshing Ale, Pacific Ale, In Season IPA, Nitro Stout and a rotating small batch limited edition Keller Door brews – plus Brookvale Union Ginger Beer (it's boozy and it's beaut).

There'll be local Hunter Valley wine of course and a handful of cocktails. 4 Pines at the Farm's Executive Chef Andrew Miller, and his team have created a menu to match the brews and the views. There's something for everyone from burgers, to pizza to Aussie pub classics. Sit back and take in all in, open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A rare offering in the Hunter Valley.

Owner Phil Helé says, “The Hunter has been crying out for something other than a wine and food offering, and with my family's rich hospitality history and strong local connection, we've created a new offering for both the local community and thriving tourism market which will uniquely operate 7 days a week.” he adds.

With a capacity of 300 over vast indoor and outdoor spaces, 4 Pines at the Farm has retained the aesthetic and feel of their existing hospitality venues. Think recycled timber and a weathered façade, plus a bespoke mural painted alongside the bar. The venue is available for walk-ins but on weekends and during peak season, bookings are recommended. The venue can also accommodate private group bookings across a selection of spaces within the venue including private dining room for up to 20 seated guests.

TAPROOM/BISTRO OPENING HOURS:  Monday – Sunday: 7.30am – late

About Hunter Farm

Hunter Farm is the Hunter Valley's newest entertainment hub, it's a farm-come resort and taproom with bistro and adventure centre all in one. It's a kind of wonderland for lovers of the Hunter Valley and all it has to offer.

It was 1991 when the Helé family purchased the Hunter Valley Resort on Hermitage Road, they brought bistro dining to the Hunter Valley.  Now, to mark their thirtieth anniversary in the Hunter, the Helé's have taken bistro dining up another notch, teaming up with Northern Beaches 4 Pines Brewing Co. to bring their established brand to the Hunter Valley as 4 Pines at the Farm.

No strangers to the brewery business, the Helé's together with advertising guru John Singleton, created quite a stir in the Hunter Valley in 2003 when they opened the region's first craft Bluetongue Brewery, which started a shift in offerings in the state's most visited regional destination that was previously primarily known as a wine region.

At 'the farm' couples, groups, families, leisure and business travellers will be able to completely immerse themselves in all things beer, wine, food, accommodation and farming adventure all in one central location.  Tripadvisor ranks them as the highest rated 4 star hotel in Pokolbin.

Set amidst their fifty-five-year-old Helé Family vineyards on the ridge where Hermitage Road and Mistletoe Lane intersect, the 30 hectare property will become a wonderland for locals and visitors alike. In a Hunter Valley first, Hunter Farm is a venue which offers something to everyone with a tap bar and bistro, 4 star accommodation, farm animals, horse riding, carriage rides, Segway rides, workshops, wine tastings, beer school and so much more can be enjoyed.

Open 7 days
