Sydney Harbour is set to shine this May when Vivid Sydney returns to light up our Autumn nights 27 May to 18 June 2022. Captain Cook Cruises has released the company's most exciting program of Vivid Light cruises to date, including a new Vivid Cocktail Harbour Bar that combines Sydney inspired cocktails and an unrivalled view of Vivid Sydney's most spectacular harbourside light installations from the Sydney Opera House to Darling Harbour.

Captain Cook Cruises has partnered with Destination NSW to light up Sydney Harbour from the inception of Vivid Sydney. Each year the company lights up its vessels and illuminates the official Vivid Sydney logo onboard flagship Sydney 2000. “After a two-year hiatus, we can't wait to welcome everyone back to Vivid Sydney. 2022 is going to be our most exciting on-water program yet, with brand new Vivid Harbour experiences,” said Nick Lester, General Manager.

The most affordable and easiest way to the see the full canvas of Vivid Lights across multiple foreshore precincts is onboard a one-hour Vivid Lights Cruise. Up to four cruises depart nightly between 5.45pm to 8.30pm. Vivid Light cruises are priced from $29 to $39 per person, and when combined with a NSW Dine & Discover voucher guests can cruise from as little as $4.

With a $50 NSW Parent voucher guests can step up to a Vivid Sydney Dinner cruise.  Vivid Dinner prices start from only $59 per person for a 1½ hour cruise from 5.00pm including a 2-course menu. “The earlier departures are always popular with family groups as everyone loves to see the Harbour explode in colour when the lights turn on at 6.00pm,” continued Mr Lester.

There are many dinner options to choose from departing up to 7.00pm, however the gourmet diner will find it hard to go past the Vivid Gold Dinner cruise from $195 per person. Gold guests enjoy six amazing courses over 3 leisurely hours with the option to pair each course with premium Australian wines including the renowned Penfolds St Henri. Add priority boarding, guaranteed upper deck window seating and the superb backdrop of Vivid Sydney and there is little chance of being left wanting.

The all-new Vivid Cocktail Harbour Bar will have the most avid Vivid devotees talking. Vivid Sydney's new cruising cocktail bar departs at 5.00pm and 7.00pm each night and includes your choice of Sydney inspired cocktail on arrival, an Australian cheese platter to share and another house beverage to enjoy at your leisure whilst viewing the stunning Vivid Lights from the plush comfort of your reserved Lounge seating. The Vivid Cocktail Harbour Bar is priced at $75 per person for either the 1½ sitting at 5.00pm or 3-hour sitting at 7.00pm. Guests can add to their dining experience from the onboard menu including modern Australian tapas plates, premium cocktails, and comprehensive beverage list.

All Vivid Sydney cruises depart from Darling Harbour King St Wharf 1, adjacent to the Barangaroo light precinct and only a short stroll to Cockle Bay and the spectacular new Sydney Infinity liquid and light show.  A Circular Quay disembarkation is also available on selected cruises, should guest like a close up view of the light installations at The Rocks and Walsh Bay. Cruise on a Saturday or Sunday and guests will be treated to live entertainment from 5.00pm.

Vivid Sydney is an award-winning Destination NSW initiative, in conjunction with the Love Sydney campaign.
