Cornish holiday cottage company Aspects Holidays has reported that booking volumes for 2022 holidays in Cornwall are significantly ahead, with a 114% increase*, as demand for UK holidays continues.
Director Mandy Spencer said ‘Due to such limited availability in Cornwall this year, people are looking ahead to ensure they don’t miss out again next year. For 2022, popular destinations like St Ives and Carbis Bay are already over 85% full for May half term and 75% full for the summer holidays which is unheard of at this time of year.
2021 has been exceptionally busy, with many people choosing to opt for a holiday in the UK; a safer, easier and more comfortable choice than traveling abroad during these times. We’ve been really pleased to welcome to Cornwall a whole new range of guests who might ordinarily go abroad; they’re realising the quality of holidays and accommodation available on their doorstep and many are rebooking Cornwall for next year.’
The message is clear – book now to avoid disappointment.
You can browse Aspects Holidays’ collection of properties for 2022 here, which can be reserved for just £40 with no further obligation. If you want to confirm the booking, the remaining deposit will be due on 1st November.
A bit more about Cornwall:
Cornwall offers guests a unique coastal holiday destination with sandy beaches and turquoise waters to rival those of the Mediterranean. As the most south-westerly location in the UK, Cornwall’s peninsula boasts its own sense of identity; it has strong traditional values with its own culture and heritage.
This beautiful county boasts a sub-tropical climate, warmed by the Gulf Stream. Many visitors remark on the mild climate and balmy evenings, unlike the rest of the country. This unique micro-climate, especially on the south coast, allows tropical plants, vineyards, and even tea plants to thrive! You’d be forgiven for thinking that certain parts of Cornwall feel almost exotic. With this in mind, Cornwall is every bit as alluring as its overseas counterparts.
