From October 1st, the Seychelles opened its doors to visitors from a range of key countries including the UK, France and the UAE. This tropical paradise is the perfect location to take your next holiday. Whether you are a family looking for adventure and excitement, a couple seeking true romance or just in need for some deep relaxation; Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is the ideal place to get your sunshine fix; here's why…
1. Beach Please – The past summer has no doubt lacked the sun-soaked beach holidays that we all crave, and we're counting down the days to a little Vitamin Sea.The waters that surround the picturesque isle of Silhouette, on which Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is the only resort, are a protected Marine Reserve.
These azure, sparkling waves are teeming with tropical fish and mesmerising corals, the wonder of which is seconded only by the powder-soft white sanded beaches and swaying palm trees that border them – a true haven that will awaken all the senses.
2. The Right Kind Of Isolation – As the sole resort on Silhouette island, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, is a truly secluded paradise. The resort has been built to incorporate and celebrate nature on this organically rich and biologically diverse isle; over 90% of the island itself is a protected nature reserve, as are the waters that surround it, and guests at the resort are encouraged to explore the beautiful landscape and endemic fauna that Silhouette has to offer. An invigorating hike on one of the jungle trails with one of the resorts guides could lead to a secluded beach, a sighting of native Giant Tortoises or the chance to see the mysterious Coco De Mer tree in the wild.
A stroll along the beach will also lead to another iconic view of the Seychelles; monolithic granite rocks strewn across pure white sand. At every turn stunning vistas can be found, from the main pool, providing an unparalleled view of the soaring peak of Mount Dauban, to the Spa which incorporates typical Seychellois boulders into the reception area. There is no better place to relax and rejuvenate than amongst the beauty of nature in this private haven.
3. True Luxury – Surround yourself with stunning vistas at every turn, enjoy freshly mixed drinks, choose from an array of delectable dining options, truly relax in the Eforea Spa, enjoy a romantic meal on the picturesque beaches of Silhouette, or in the privacy of your villa. Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa embodies luxury throughout the resort from the contemporary chic style of villas, to the indulgent Eforea Spa menu and the delicious dishes on offer from the assortment of dining outlets available. Guests can choose from eight restaurants with 5-star service and a range of specialties including local Creole, Teppanyaki, Mediterranean cuisine, beachside barbeque, gourmet, and Sushi.
4. Romance and Family Time, A Holiday for Everyone – Although the fiery sunsets, pristine beaches and luxurious villas of Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa might seem the perfect backdrop for honeymooners and romantics, the resort (and indeed, Silhouette Island itself) is perfect for families too. The Little Islanders Kid's Club; which is open to kids from 4-12 years old; gives parents the chance to enjoy some true relaxation time, happy in the knowledge that the kids are having fun and enjoying new activities every day; ranging from dance lessons to mini golf, to baking and The 'Little Hoteliers Programme', also offers kids the chance to go behind the scenes of the resort and discover the tricks of the hotel trade as they head to the hotel kitchens for cooking lessons and much more.
5. Peace-of-Mind from Check-in to Check-out – The Seychelles has been classified as a low-risk country for Covid and the Seychellois authorities remain on high alert for any eventualities. All UK visitors must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test performed within 72 hours prior to boarding their flight (this is 48 hours for guests from other low-risk countries). On arrival to the Seychelles, UK guests must reside in one of the designated 'Safe Hotels', of which Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is one. From the International Airport on Mahe private transfers for guests of Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa transport them to the jetty at Bel Ombre for the final leg of the transfer over to Silhouette Island. For the first four days upon arrival in the Seychelles, guests from the UK are required to stay within restricted areas of the hotel to avoid contact with other guests. Pending another negative PCR test on their 5th day at the resort, guests will be free to use all hotel facilities.
As the only resort on Silhouette, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is uniquely placed to ensure the safety of guests. The hotel is part of Hilton CleanStay, Hilton's industry-leading programme of cleanliness and disinfection in Hilton properties across the world. Developed in collaboration with RB, maker of Lysol and Dettol, and with consultation from Mayo Clinic, Hilton CleanStay allows guests to enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay. New standards include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to indicate that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, increased frequency of cleaning of all public areas, and disinfection stations with wipes and hand sanitiser conveniently located throughout the property – allowing the resort to provide guests with assurance and peace-of-mind while continuing to deliver world-class service.
