Blenheim Palace is giving families a huge summer boost by offering free entry for up to four children from the same household until the end of August.
Running from 22nd July until 31st August, an adult Palace, Park and Gardens ticket, will qualify for up to an additional four free child entries (age 5-16), each worth £16.50, to the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The offer is valid for up to a maximum of four children who must be accompanied by an adult, and all be from the same household. All tickets must be pre-purchased online prior to arrival.
As part of the summer celebrations, Blenheim Palace has also announced a series of new child-friendly outdoor activities including bubble shows, stilt walkers, bug trails, mini golf and theatrical performances.
Blenheim Palace recently received the official UK 'We're Good to go' mark from VisitEngland after fully complying with all the processes needed to re-open safely to visitors.
The mark indicates a business has followed government covid19 guidance and has processes in place to maintain cleanliness and observe social distancing guidelines.
“After a long few months of lockdown, we want families to come and visit Blenheim Palace and enjoy some quality time together in a place where they will feel safe,” said Emily Hirons, Head of Operations.
“As well as all the new outdoor events, we're also re-opening the Pleasure Gardens and the miniature train plus there's the Palace itself, the formal gardens and literally thousands of acres of beautiful parkland to explore.
“The Pleasure Gardens' Adventure Playground and the Pizza Café will also be open,” she added.
Much of the parks and gardens area at Blenheim Palace has been open since May, with more than 97% of visitors saying they feel very safe during their visit.
As part of its re-opening, Blenheim Palace has put in place a series of 'keeping safe' measures. There is a daily cap on visitor numbers. Visitors are greeted at a safe distance, all transactions are cashless and staff in key areas wear personal protective equipment and operate behind protective screens.
New signage, barriers and announcements form part of the visit, and additional staff are on hand to provide advice and information. Extra temporary outdoor toilets with washing and hand sanitising areas have also been set up.
Visitors can also watch an explanatory video online prior to arriving on site, which clearly explains the new procedures.

About Blenheim Palace
Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1704, Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
Set in over 2,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland and designed by
Vanbrugh in the Baroque style, it was financed by Queen Anne, on behalf of a grateful nation, following the first Duke of Marlborough's triumph over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession.
Today it houses one of the most important and extensive collections in Europe, which includes portraits, furniture, sculpture and tapestries.
Blenheim Palace is also the birthplace of one of Britain's most famous leaders, Sir Winston Churchill, and it was his father who described the vista on entering the Estate from the village of Woodstock as the 'finest view in England'.
