SHEARINGS HOLIDAYS BOLSTERS OCEAN CRUISE PROGRAMME

Fancy a cruise that explores the Andalucian cities of Seville, Cadiz and Malaga? Or cruising from Jordan to Egypt and onto Israel's Holy Land? Or why not explore even further afield on a cruise and tour itinerary, sailing from Sydney, across the Tasman Sea and around New Zealand?

Shearings Holidays has grown its ocean cruise programme for 2020 with the introduction of Fred Olsen Cruises, CroisiEurope and three additional worldwide cruise and tour itineraries. Building on the success of its existing ocean cruise programme with Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV), Shearings Holidays now has a total of 33 ocean cruise itineraries on sale, 22 of which are new. In total, 18 no-fly cruise and 15 fly-cruise options are now available, across 9 ships.   

Partnering with Fred Olsen for the first time, Shearings Holidays is offering a total of 13 cruises on board three ships – MS Balmoral, MS Braemar and MS Boudicca. Alongside popular European itineraries such as 'Capital Cities of the Baltic' and 'Authentic Andalucía with Lisbon', a range of long-haul option are available including a 'Classic Caribbean and Havana Highlights' cruise, an 'Authentic India' cruise and a 29-day 'Japan, Vietnam Hong Kong and Singapore' cruise.

CroisiEurope's ocean cruises are also a being offered by Shearings Holidays for the first time. Six cruise itineraries are now available on board CroisiEurope's new ship MS La Belle des Oceans, as she sails around the Mediterranean in Spring 2020.  Cruises include an 8-day 'Charms of Corsica' cruise and a 10-day 'The Spanish Coast, Algarve & Lisbon' cruise.

Shearings Holidays continues to offer a selection of cruises from CMV on board MV Columbus and MS Magellan. 11 itineraries are currently on sale across both ships including a 3-day 'Dublin Mini-Cruise' departing from Liverpool on board MS Magellan and an 8-day 'Majestic Fjordland' cruise, departing from London Tilbury on board MV Columbus. 

For those who want to go further and join an exploration cruise around the world, three new 'tour and cruise' itineraries are now available that included an ocean cruise element within the escorted tour. New additions include:

• Alaska Cruise & Rocky Mountaineer Journey through the Clouds – A 19-day itinerary including seven nights on board Holland America Lines' MS Koningsdam, as she sails the coast from Vancouver to Alaska and back.  
• Great Explorers Cruise Antarctica, Chilean Fjords & Falklands – A 20-day cruise itinerary sailing on board Hurtigruten's MS Roald Amundsen.  
• Sail Sydney to New Zealand's Sights – A 24-day itinerary that includes 9 nights on board Celebrity Cruises' ship, MS Celebrity Solstice as she sails from Sydney, across the Tasman Sea and around New Zealand.

• In to the Heart of Spain and Bordeaux – from £1254pp – Fred Olsen – Join MS Braemar as she cruises to France and Spain. Departing Southampton, the ship sails to Bordeaux and offers the chance to explore the French wine capital whilst sailing on the Garonne river. She also calls at the elegant city of Santander plus visits the old estuary port of Aviles with its charming Old Town and La Coruna, with its rich Galician heritage.  Departing 16 May 2020, price includes eight nights full board on the ship, gratuities, plus return coach travel to Southampton from various UK pick up points. • Charms of Corsica – from £2999pp – CroisiEurope - Discover the many charm of Corsica, with its mix of Italian and French character, on a 8-day cruise on board MV La Belle des Oceans. Embarking in Nice, the ship calls L'lle Rousee, Ajaccio  - Corsica's main city and the birthplace of Napoleon, Bonifacio with its lively marina, the town of Porto Vecchio with it narrow streets and main square, Bastia and returning to Nice. Departs 6 April 2020 and price includes seven nights all-inclusive cruise and return flights to Nice. Based on two sharing.
• Sail Sydney to New Zealand's Sights – Cruise and Tour – from £8169pp - A 24-day itinerary that includes 9-night sailing onboard Celebrity Solstice, from Sydney to New Zealand. Highlights include cruising across famed waters such as Milford Sounds and the Bay of Plenty and visiting Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland before disembarking and joining a land based tour of both North and South Island. The land-based element includes time in Auckland, Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Queenstown, Franz Joseph and Christchurch. Departing 9 February 2021, prices are from £8169pp to include: two nights accommodation in Sydney before the cruise; 9 nights full board on the Celebrity Solstice in a deluxe balcony stateroom; 10 nights accommodation in New Zealand; 20 breakfasts, 8 lunches, 16 dinners;  1 included excursions; local guides and porterage. .
