All New Poppins Precinct and Lets Go Fly a Kite a Part of Mary Poppins Festival

A new edition to the Mary Poppins Festival, Let’s Go Fly A Kite is a kite flying event in Queens Park where children can decorate their very own Mary Poppins inspired kite and watch their creation come to life in the skies!

Kites will be available to purchase in the park and children and families can get creative at the  colouring-in station.  Marc the Joyologist will also roaming the festivities, providing loud and imagination driven entertainment for children. 

“You’ll have the chance to watch and join in with Erica Neate as she creates beautiful handmade kite puppets that will be featured in the Day in the Park Grand Parade on Saturday 6 July ”said Jazz Fabian,

 Poppin’s Precinct performances will feature in Queens Park adjacent to the Band Hall, from 5pm – 7pm on Monday July 1 and Friday July 5.  

Event Coordinator Jazz Fabian says; Monday will be a large Mary Poppin’s themed theatre performance by APT Studios and Friday will feature a Poetry & Pizza night where you can purchase $5 pizzas whilst enjoying a very lively and interactive poetry session with father and daughter poets Megan & Jason Roweth.” She said
