QT Melbourne and Champagne Perrier-Jouët Launch the 'Art of the Wild' Private Dining Room

QT Hotels & Resorts

Located on the first level of QT Melbourne, the recently finished King private dining room will be transformed into a multi-sensory garden. 'Art of the Wild' is the universe inspired by Maison Perrier-Jouët's heritage to re-enchant the everyday, through the presence of magnetic, vivid and wild nature.

The hyper nature graphics projected throughout the room are inspired by the anemone flowers which can also be found adorning bottles from the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque collection. This re-imagined anemone motif was originally designed in 1902 by the master of Art Nouveau, Emile Gallé, and is also brought to life in the space with a reimagined flower garden blooming in green, purple and pink neon hues.

Complementing the exuberant and playful decor, the team from QT Melbourne's hatted restaurant Pascale, have delivered an innovative menu true to its promise of only the freshest seasonal, local produce with minimal intervention. With highlight dishes including Cured Hiramasa Kingfish with Jicama, Yuzu & Dashi, WA Marron with Broccoli, Smoked Eel & Osetra Caviar and a Sher Wagyu Porterhouse with Tarragon, Artichoke and Beetroot, the menu is designed to be perfectly paired with Perrier-Jouët's intricate floral champagnes.  Five are featured in this dinner series - including the crisp Belle Epoque 20012, the Belle Epoque Rose 2006, and the Grand Brut NV.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Perrier-Jouët to elevate the simple pleasures of entertaining at QT Melbourne. Our chefs are passionate about bold and native ingredients, and we are excited to create a unique multi-sensory experience that brings to life the 'Art of the Wild' concept through the art of dining and creativity,” said QT Melbourne's General Manager, Lee Davey.

About Perrier-Jouët

Founded in 1811 in Epernay, Maison Perrier-Jouët is one of France's most historic champagne houses, but also one of its most distinctive, renowned for its floral and intricate champagnes which reveal the true essence of the Chardonnay grape and an enduring tradition of savoir-faire – an unparalleled expertise of only seven Cellar Masters since its foundation. A boutique house with a family spirit, Perrier-Jouët has been profoundly influenced by its founders' love of nature and art – twin inspirations which allow it to create exceptional experiences and moments of wonder that enhance everyday life. Since its 1902 collaboration with Art Nouveau pioneer Emile Gallé, creator of the anemone design for its Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque prestige cuvée, Perrier-Jouët has commissioned work from established and emerging artists including Daniel Arsham, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, Miguel Chevalier, Makoto Azuma, Tord Boontje, Studio Glithero and Simon Heijdens, and more recently Vik Muniz, mischer'traxler, Ritsue Mishima, Andrew Kudless and Luftwerk.
