Pay just £1200 for a family of four, including all activities and meals
Families are being offered the chance to save more than 30 per cent on a fun activity week in Normandy this summer with Family Adventure Holidays (01273 803030; www.familyadventureholidays.com), a leading provider of family activity holidays in France.
The week-long, fully inclusive activity break, staying in simple accommodation, offers real value for money and includes a programme of age-specific activities for children, as well as adults-only and whole-family pursuits, and all meals and drinks. These trips are ideal for multl-generational and skip-gen family groups. Plus they're great for solo parents, as there are no single supplements.
Families who book before 30 June for the weeks of 3, 10 and 24 August at La Grand' Ferme, or 10, 17 and 24 August at Château de la Baudonnière, will pay just £325 per adult and £275/£170 per child – a saving of £165 per adult and £105 per older child. Plus under-twos go free.
Normandy La Grand' Ferme and Château de la Baudonnière offer a similar programme, with a slight variation in activities. Led by Family Adventure Holidays' qualified animateurs, sessions can include cycling trips, canoeing, aeroball, archery, T-shirt-making, baking, and an on-site mini-farm. Family bonding opportunities include an expert-led Mont St Michel bay walk with a quicksands experience, an It's a Knockout tournament, disco, quiz and karaoke sessions. Many other activities specific to each centre are also included.
Plus new for this year, daily French sessions for kids, including workbook, are available at the Chateau for £55 extra in total per child and a new day trip visiting the Normandy Landings beaches has been added to the La Grand' Ferme programme to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Both Normandy holidays include: seven nights' accommodation in a family room, all meals (with wine/cider for adults) and activities. These are self-drive trips and international travel is not included. Return ferry from Dover to Calais, costs approximately £150 for a car and four passengers.

Notes to editors:
Family Adventure Holidays offers adventure and activity holidays at great-value prices in locations on the Opal Coast and the French Med and in Normandy and the Ardèche. There are no hidden extras, and
some are offered on an all-inclusive basis. All breaks include a flexible programme of activities designed
for specific age groups combined with activities for the whole family. The holidays do not include international travel.
The company was founded in 2012 by Nigel English under the umbrella of Voyager School Travel (Class Tours Ltd), a leading operator in the school travel sector.
As parents of children across the age range, Nigel and his wife Lisa, who has since joined the business, have a true understanding of what makes a fantastic holiday for all the family. This is complemented by years of experience providing educational, activity and adventure holidays to schools, led by staff who are recruited for their engaging, encouraging and fun demeanour, to fit with the company ethos and high standards of safety. The intimate size of the venues ensures that the staff get to know all the families.
The incredibly low price of the holidays reflects the no-frills accommodation, with limited double beds available in certain centres. But no compromises are made on cleanliness, the excellent quality of food, prepared by French chefs, and the unrivalled activity packages led by talented animateurs and qualified sports coaches.
The holidays, based at five centres, include:
- Opal Coast Easter and Summer Adventures near Boulogne: both fully inclusive (with some wine), and based at the three-star Hotel Moulin aux Draps, set in 22 acres and offering lodgings in interconnecting rooms, doubles, twins, singles and dorms;
- Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy: a fully inclusive activity week, with accommodation for up to 25 families in a historic building on a 100-acre rural estate, just north of Avranches;
- La Grand' Ferme in Normandy: a fully inclusive family adventure, set in a country estate with
- outdoor heated pool in the village of La Fougeray, featuring lodgings in a traditional farmhouse and two gîtes, which can host a maximum of 14 families;
- Mediterranean Beach Club in Argelès sur Mer: a watersports tuition holiday, offered on a self-catering basis in two- and three-bedroom mobile homes at the four-star Camping Taxo Les Pins campsite, with total capacity for up to nine families;
- The Ardèche: a programme of white-water adventure holidays, including a two-day overnight bivouac descent of the Ardèche Gorge, offered on a self-catering basis in mobile homes at a three-star campsite, with total capacity for up to nine families.
