Spring has arrived in Japan and the cherry blossoms are expected to bloom soon. Culturally, the Japanese believe spring represents new beginnings and it is also the start of the fiscal year in Japan. This spring, Hoshino Resorts will reopen 'KAI Tsugaru' on April 1, 2019, located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. KAI Tsugaru features the theme of 'Tsugaru Seasonal Water Garden'. All guest rooms will be converted to 'Signature Rooms', which are all over 50 square meters and decorated with local traditional handicrafts.
HOSHINOYA Tokyo also welcomes spring with the announcement of winning the AHEAD Global 2019 Awards, under the category of 'URBAN Hotel – New Build', in the British hotel design publication, Sleeper Magazine.
