NEW FOR 2019: Enjoy a flavour of this year's Tour de France cycling through Alsace, Burgundy and Beaujolais
Saddle Skedaddle's new guided road cycling holiday through three of France's famous wine-producing regions gives riders a flavour of this year's Tour de France, with stops at Grand Ballon, Les Planche des Belles Filles and Burgundy, which all feature on this year's Grand Tour.
Beginning in Mittelbergheim (Alsace), recognised as one of France's most beautiful villages, the route follows the 'Route des Cretes' before tackling two of Le Tour's most famous climbs – the Grand Ballon and the Col du Ballon d'Alsace.
Cycling into the vineyards of Burgundy, ride North to South through quiet French villages, taking in some of Burgundy's best wine producing regions.
The final day's riding en route to the Beaujolais region follows tiny cols to the city of Cluny, once the largest monastic centre in Western Europe. The changing terrain signals the trip's arrival in the foothills of the Rhone-Alpes, the last stop of the tour.

NEW FOR 2019: Experience your own Giro Grand Tour with Saddle Skedaddle
As in previous years, Saddle Skedaddle has launched a special Giro-themed road cycling trip for 2019 that takes place during Italy's Grand Tour, giving riders the chance to experience the race as it happens.
Starting on the shores of Lake Como, it joins the official Giro at one of cycling's most iconic locations - La Madonna del Ghisallo - home to the Ghisallo Cycling Museum and the shrine of the Patron Saint of cycling. The climb to the hill's peak has featured in many Grand Tours.
Throughout the trip there's a chance to take on sections of this year's Giro before watching the professional riders pass through. Highlights include Muro di Sormano, also known as 'The Wall', one of the most infamous climbs in the world of professional cycling, the Mortirolo, and Passo della Mendola, which has featured in the race many times thanks to its 1,344m summit.
There's lots of opportunity to cheer on the professional riders and soak up the atmosphere of Italy's famous cycling event.
The trips ends with a ride through the Brenta Dolomites and a final mountain climb before entering the lake region to the final stop, Lake Garda.
