The Sarojin, Thailand's luxurious 56-roomed boutique residence, is helping guests spread Christmas cheer and welcome in 2019 in luxury with its festive celebrations. From Christmas carols with the local children and wishes carried by spirit lantern to evenings of fine dining, live music and dancing, The Sarojin is the perfect place to enjoy some elegant winter sun this festive season!
Charitable Christmas Cheer
Christmas festivities at The Sarojin are always guaranteed to spread joy among its residents and the local community. To start the celebrations in the true spirit of Christmas, The Sarojin invites its guests to join the children from the local Baan Tharn Namchai Orphanage for carols around the hotel's sparkling Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Continuing in the spirit of giving, The Sarojin offers guests the unique opportunity to present one of the children with their own special Christmas gift.
Guests can then enjoy a delicious sit-down dinner under the stars in the resort's beautiful Ficus Garden, and having featured in the MICHELIN Guide Bangkok, Phuket, and Phang-nga 2019, fine dining is guaranteed at The Sarojin. With fresh seafood, pan-seared foie gras, tropical salads, tender BBQ'd meats and fish, as well tempting Asian dishes and sumptuous desserts, all freshly prepared by The Sarojin's chefs, dinner is sure to impress!
After dinner, guests can sit back and listen to live Jazz music, with a glass of wine from the residence's award-winning wine cellar, before releasing a spirit lantern into the sky. In Thailand, it is commonly believed that these beautiful lanterns carry words and wishes to those who are no longer with us, the perfect way to remember late family and friends during this special time of year.
After a silent night's rest in one of The Sarojin's luxurious residences, guests will awake to a visit from Santa Claus himself taking dinner requests for the Christmas Day Beach BBQ. Having spent the day swapping presents, relaxing on the pristine white beach or by the pool, or even indulging in a pampering spa treatment, guests can enjoy an evening of live music, delicious BBQ dishes and festive foodie favourites.
Welcoming in 2019 in style
The Sarojin's celebrations are sure to create an elegant New Year to remember! Starting the evening in style, guests can sip pre-dinner cocktails in The Sarojin's lush tropical gardens, before dining under the poolside palms. Seated at elegant tables around the residence's luxurious poolside garden, diners can enjoy a sumptuous range of freshly prepared Asian, Thai and Western cuisines as they are treated to live music from one of Thailand's popular bands.
Guests will be spoilt for choice at dinner, as The Sarojin Chefs serve fresh shellfish, carvings of beautifully BBQ'd meats and aromatic Asian dishes. Accompanying the freshly prepared mains are tropical salads and sumptuous British and Thai sides. No celebratory feast is complete without indulging in delectable desserts and The Sarojin is sure not to disappoint! From chocolate torte and crepe suzette to mango mille feuille and kiwi bavarois, there is a dessert to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth!
At 10:30pm, guests can make their way down to The Sarojin's pristine white-sand beach to prepare for the big countdown. With music from a popular Phuket DJ, guests can dance the night away in the perfect tropical setting, with stunning views across the Andaman sea and a glimmering night sky filled with stars.
At midnight, guests can toast to 2019 with a glass of sparkling wine as fireworks light up the sky, before releasing their own spirit lantern to carry their wishes for the year ahead.
