Park Hyatt Melbourne is pleased to announce the appointment of Leigh Shepheard to the position of Hotel Manager.
Leigh was most recently Director of Rooms with Park Hyatt Shanghai and has worked across North Asia with Park Hyatt Seoul and Grand Hyatt Beijing. A native Australian, Leigh's career spans over 15 years in hospitality with a strong track record in front office and rooms division.
With his first Hotel Manager role at Park Hyatt Melbourne, Leigh's hands-on leadership skills will continue to provide exemplary levels of customer service through leading a professional and dedicated team to create highly unique and authentic luxury experiences for his guests.
“I am thrilled to move back to Melbourne as Hotel Manager of this iconic Melbourne hotel. I am also very excited to return to the sporting capital of Australia and last but not least to be adoptive parent to the hotel's Ambassador dog - Mr Walker”.
Leigh will report to the General Manager and Area Vice President, Robert Dawson and replaces Brett Sweetman who is relocating to Park Hyatt Auckland as the pre-opening General Manager.
