Best Western Rewards® (BWR®) members have the chance to win 1 million BWR points when they book to stay with any one of the brand's more than 100 properties across Australia and New Zealand between 1 November 2018 and 31 January 2019.

As the first major rewards promotion since the launch of the new Best Western Hotels & Resorts structure in Australasia, this competition will enable travellers the chance to win and spend 1 million BWR points on a prize of their choosing, such as a $5,000+ shopping spree at Myer, David Jones, JB HiFi or other partners, or a family holiday with up to 40 room nights at Best Western-branded hotels, plus $1,000 in fuel vouchers. There are also a number of other ways for winners to spend their 1 million BWR points, including redeeming them for a Red Balloon adventure such as a 10-night trekking tour in Europe or a nine-night tour of Nepal, or on something special like a Pandora Moments 14ct gold necklace.

An additional 100 runner-ups will each win an $100 gift card, with the choice of Red Balloon, Caltex or Woolworths Wish gift cards.

Managing Director of Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Australasia, Graham Perry, says the inspiration for the promotion has been threefold.

“We were looking for an impactful way to reward our loyal guests – and gain a few new loyal members along the way,” explains Perry.

“We were also looking to increase the profile of the program in the market. Best Western Rewards is perhaps our best kept secret in Australasia, but nearly 38 million BWR members globally can't be wrong. We're getting something right with the program internationally, with our benefits which range from our points that never expire to our 'status match, no catch' promise for loyalty members who come over from other hotel programs. We wanted to share that news in Australasia.”
