For the past 3 years, Kent-based travel companies Pettitts Travel, Medway Leisure Travel and Packyourbags Travel have been operating side by side under the CT Travel Group umbrella. With both CT Travel Group and Pettitts Travel celebrating their 30th anniversaries this year, it was decided that 2018 was the right time to review the leisure operation of the business, and the decision was made to bring all three leisure brands together, under the Pettitts Travel brand.

Packyourbags Travel (formerly Country Trails Travel) has been a high profile leisure brand within the Tunbridge Wells area since 1988. That same year, Pettitts Travel was founded, also in Tunbridge Wells, initially focussing on tailor-made travel by car in India. Demand from clients to offer this arrangement in other countries soon became apparent, allowing the company to blossom into the success it is today. In 2015 Pettitts Travel was acquired by CT Travel Group, following the Group's earlier acquisition of Maidstone-based travel company, Medway Leisure Travel in 2012.

Travel Consultants from all three brands remain with the company and will continue to work in the existing offices in Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone, Kent.
