Tour Operator Inspiring Travel Company Launches a TV Advertising Campaign for the First Time

Inspiring Travel Company

Tailor-made travel specialist Inspiring Travel Company is launching a TV advertising campaign this autumn for the first time in the company's 44-year history.

The tour operator has created a 30-second advert which will run on ITV1, targeting viewers in London, the southeast and the northwest, as well as across nine channels on the Sky Media network and digitally on ITV3. The advert will debut on Monday 1st October 2018 and air throughout the month of October.

The advert is designed to showcase the company's breadth of product, from family and luxury beach holidays to experiential journeys, safaris and sporting breaks. It incorporates the company's tagline, “Experts in the Extraordinary” and will also be available to view at www.inspiringtravelcompany.co.uk and across the brand's social media channels (including YouTube).

“TV advertising is an exciting step forward for us,” says Mal Barritt, CEO of Inspiring Travel Company's parent company ITC Travel Group. “Over the past two years, we have changed the name of our flagship brand from ITC Luxury Travel to Inspiring Travel Company and moved beyond our core luxury beach offering by integrating the full tailor-made travel portfolio previously sold through sister company Western & Oriental. This broadcast campaign gives us the chance to reinforce the diversity of our holidays and our expertise to existing clients as well as reaching new audiences.”

Although this is the company's first foray into television advertising, Inspiring Travel Company may be familiar to some viewers from the BBC Two documentary The Millionaires' Holiday Club, which went behind the scenes at the company's headquarters in Chester for a two-part series aired in June 2016.

As well as targeting direct business, the TV campaign will carry a trade-focused call to action, encouraging viewers to contact their local travel agent to book holidays through Inspiring Travel Company.
