Matt Tebbutt to join Searcys as guest chef for celebration of local produce at Blenheim Palace

Enjoy an exclusive dinner at The Orangery, Blenheim Palace with guest chef, Matt Tebbutt who is joining its kitchen for one night only, on Thursday 27 September.

The evening offers a rare chance to try Matt Tebbutt's cooking. The British chef and television presenter, best known for his role on Saturday Kitchen, will be preparing a four-course dinner championing seasonal, local produce. Matt has put together a bespoke field-to-fork menu showcasing the finest British ingredients from artisan local producers, farmers and the Blenheim Palace estate.

Seasonal dishes include Chalk stream trout, girolle, samphire and game consommé and a main course of Beef fillet, ox cheek, field mushroom, shallot puree and parsley crumb. Mulberries, toasted oats, whiskey cream and filo will be followed by a cheese course of Oxford blue, honeycomb and poached pear.

Cotswolds produce will take centre stage: lavender, honey and mulberries come from the Blenheim estate and are supplied by head gardener Hilary Wood, while the consommé is made onsite using game shot on the estate. Cotswold beef and New Forest trout also draw on local suppliers, in keeping with Searcys commitment to sustainability.

Set in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, The Orangery by Searcys serves seasonal British food in an iconic setting. Its traditional floor tiles, huge arched windows and elegant glass panelled ceiling provide a stunning backdrop for a dining experience.

This special dinner will take place on 27 September at 6.30pm, and is open to the public. Tickets will be priced at £88 and include drinks and canapés upon arrival, a 4-course meal with wine pairing, and coffee to finish.
