The Greatest 'Free' Music Festival by the Sea
Returns to Aldeburgh Saturday 30th June
Go along to the greatest 'free' music festival by the sea in Aldeburgh on Saturday, 30th June when the Music by the Sea open air charity concert returns to the town on Suffolk's Heritage Coast.
Enjoy some top hits from today and yesteryear performed by a fantastic line-up of local and national artists performing live in the King's Field from 4pm until dark. There will also be children's entertainment, a food market catering for a variety of tastes and a choice of bars.
Great line-up
First on stage will be Everly Everly, presenting a celebration of iconic hits from the late 50s and 60s by the popular Everly Brothers. They will be followed by Words & Music, a dynamic duo formed by brothers Graham and Steven Dye, who will take you on a trip down memory lane playing classic songs from the 60s.
After a short break Suffolk's very own Phil Jackson Rock 'n Roll Band bring big beat boogie rock 'n roll to the stage with a sprinkling of country and blues. Sporting Jerry Lee Lewis style piano/vocals and Chuck Berry riffs, they will perform classics from the stars of the 1950s. Moving on in time another local band, Albion Mills, will entertain the crowd with top hits from between 1966 and 1974.
The Queen of Rock, Tina Turner will be impersonated by Kinisha delivering a pulsating show, emulating the sounds of the greatest ever female rock legend, while Paula Swann Sully will pay an amazing tribute to Paloma Faith. Mesmerising to watch, Paula puts her heart and soul into every appearance combining extraordinary vocal skills and visually stunning costumes captivating her audience with incredible stage presence.
Making a return visit, J.S and his fantastic Lockerbillies are going to get you up and boogying with a collection of cult classics, shaking showstoppers and rocking rollers from the golden age of jiving. With full dead ringer sets of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Buddy Holly and many more J.S & the Lockerbillies bring you their own raw brand of rock n' roll classics.
Final act of the night ELO Encounter, pay a fantastic tribute to Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra. The all live show features the soaring strings and striking vocal harmonies of the much loved songs from ELO's hit-filled library including Evil Woman, Telephone Line, Don't Bring Me Down and Mr Blue Sky.

We look forward to getting everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves”.
Event organiser Barry Dye from Barry Dye Entertainments added; "I am very pleased to be once again presenting Music by the Sea in the lovely town of Aldeburgh. Food and drink marquees
Prosecco, Pimm's and beer marquees plus a BBQ and local food outlets, will provide fuel for dancing late into the evening. There will also be a children's area to keep little ones happily entertained, while a sensational firework display will bring the evening to a rousing finale at 10pm.
Gates open at 3pm with the music starting at 4pm; bring your own seats/rugs and picnic but no alcoholic drinks or glass (bottles or drinking glasses) will be permitted. The main car park on the rugby club field will be clearly signed; when full an alternative car park will be opened at Thorpeness Golf Club practice green from where a park and ride service will operate to King's Field.
