Hanoi, April 12th, 2018 – Vietnam Airlines has been recognised as one of the winners of the 2018 TripAdvisor  Travelers' Choice awards for Airlines for Asia.

Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of airline reviews and ratings submitted by travellers worldwide, over a 12-month period on TripAdvisor Flights.  The Asia list of winners this year also includes airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Eva Air, Korean Air and Cathay Pacific, amongst others. 

Launched in 2016, the Airline Reviews category for TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards has generated great interest among the travel community. Currently, TripAdvisor has more than 900,000 reviews for more than 550 airlines around the world. In particular, Vietnam Airlines received nearly 4,000 reviews in 26 different languages.

According to TripAdvisor reviews, many customers complimented Vietnam Airlines on its “great service”, “good food”, outstanding service in terms of staff quality, onboard meals, priority boarding and luggage collection. Moreover, the airline's fleet of new-generation aircraft have given more leg room and wider seats, offering superlatively comfortable journeys.

With a widespread flight network featuring more than 90 routes to destinations in Vietnam and around the world, Vietnam Airlines is one of the most significant airlines in Vietnam and the region. Vietnam Airlines now owns a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft, many of them are the latest wide-body aircraft including the Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A350, bringing exceptional comfort to customers. Vietnam Airlines' service quality has been 4-star rated by SkyTrax – a prestigious airline rating organization – for two consecutive years. The airline is also highly regarded by international passengers for its commitment to its cultural identity shown in each flight. It was named the World's Leading Cultural Airline by the World Travel Awards in 2017.
