Riu Palace located on Paradise Island reopened on 28 October 2017 and became an adults-only property. The 350-room all-inclusive has been completely renovated with a wide array of changes both to the rooms and common areas and the addition of a slate of new culinary options.

In 2017, Elite Island Resorts launched an exclusive 4-day expert led “Caribbean Choir” singing workshops for guests with celebrity and professional vocal coach Mike King. Mike is one of the UK’s leading contemporary vocal coaches, musical directors, choir leaders and arrangers. He has been involved in the music industry for 20 years and has worked as a vocal coach on The Voice UK, helped smash a Guinness World Record by conducting 5,000 singers at Wembley Arena and directs choirs worldwide. He has worked with various international artists including multi-GRAMMY® winning singer Angelique Kidjo, GRAMMY® winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Rihanna), Mark Ronson, Boy George, Lily Allen and Florence Welch.

Following a seven-month closure for major refurbishment, Sea Breeze Beach House, formerly known as Sea Breeze opened on 16 December. Future Development in Saint Lucia
The Range Developments signed an agreement with the Government of Saint Lucia to acquire the Black Bay lands and develop Black Bay into an integrated master planned luxury touristic community. The Caribbean’s first long distance walking trail covers 115 miles of some of the best hiking in the Caribbean, spanning the communities of Scott’s Head in the south, to the Cabrits National Park in the north.
