Pan Pacific Hotels Group

Occupying an AAA location at the junction of Shwedagon Pagoda Road and Bogyoke Aung San Road, the 25-storey Pan Pacific Yangon sits within Junction City, Yangon's first integrated commercial and luxury lifestyle development. To celebrate its launch, the hotel is offering 20 per cent savings on room rates via panpacific.com/yangon.

The hotel's double-height sky lobby on the sixth floor offers stunning views to the Shwedagon Pagoda while the Pacific Club Lounge on the top floor of the hotel opens up to amazing city vistas with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

336 spacious contemporary designed guestrooms and suites – with many offering magnificent views of the Shwedagon Pagoda, the Yangon River, or the bustling city – offer a luxurious stay. Guests can relish in a range of refreshing facilities including an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, a 24-hour fitness centre, and the signature St Gregory spa.

The hotel's dining outlets include Saan, an all-day dining restaurant; Hai Tien Lo, a Pan Pacific signature concept offering authentic Cantonese cuisine; Teak Bar (left), the perfect place to enjoy cocktails while enjoying views of the Shwedagon Pagoda; and Pacific Marketplace, which is ideal for casual meals and quick bites.

The comprehensive meeting spaces at Pan Pacific Yangon include a grand ballroom of more than 600 square metres which can seat up to 800 theatre-style, and four meeting spaces of 50 or 60 square metres each.

Taking charge at Pan Pacific Yangon is William Lau, who comes from an extensive sales and marketing background which spanned 20 years. He brings a track record for driving excellent financial returns while he was with Ramada Hotel International, Renaissance International Group and the InterContinental Hotels Group. William has amassed experience as the General Manager of numerous hotels across Southeast Asia and China, and was most recently the pre-opening General Manager of Intercontinental Nantong in Jiangsu Province, China.

“As a modern and refreshing retreat in the heart of the Yangon, Pan Pacific Yangon will appeal strongly to both business and leisure travellers visiting this vibrant city. As one of our flagship hotels in the region, Pan Pacific Yangon is setting the benchmark for international hospitality in a market where, besides luxurious accommodation, we are introducing our signature dining and wellness concepts— Hai Tien Lo Cantonese restaurant and St Gregory spa. Together with our other hotels in Myanmar, PARKROYAL Yangon and PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw, we are excited about bringing to Myanmar a way of lifestyle travel and deluxe accommodation that are desired by discerning, well-travelled guests,” said Lothar Nessmann, Chief Executive Officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
