(Macao, Nov. 29, 2017) – Sands Resorts Macao has welcomed the festive season in great style with the launch of The Venetian® Macao's 2017 Christmas 3D light and sound spectacular. Set against the backdrop of The Venetian Macao's lagoon area, the stunning light and sound show will run every 30 minutes nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. through until January 8, 2018 and will alternate between both The Venetian 10th Anniversary and Christmas 3D light shows.

 

Featuring state of the art digital video mapping technology, the dazzling new animated 3D light and sound show, which projects festive images onto the 43,000-square-feet façade of The Venetian Macao, is just one of Sands Resorts Macao's must-see attractions this winter.

 

The outdoor lagoon area of The Venetian Macao also features a magnificent 48-foot Christmas tree and wonderful decorations adorning entrances, lamp posts, arches and pillars, all adding to the festive atmosphere.

 

The light show was created by Australian company Artists in Motion, who have produced shows for the Beijing Olympics and the Sydney Opera House. It took a team of highly talented 3D artists, designers, animators and music composers to create the visual spectacle unique to The Venetian Macao.
