The NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust (NSWCHPT) have confirmed their position as leaders within the NSW Camping and Caravanning industry, with five parks named as finalists at the upcoming CCIA NSW (Caravan and Camping Industry Association) Awards of Excellence.

CCIA NSW is the top industry organisation for the Camping and Caravanning industry in the state, with the awards recognising outstanding businesses within the caravan, camping and holiday parks market.

NSWCHPT oversees the operations of 37 holiday parks across NSW under the North Coast Holiday Parks (NCHP), South Coast Holiday Parks (SCHP) and Inland Waters Holiday Parks (IWHP) brands.

The five parks named as finalists at the upcoming awards night to be held at Luna Park on 16 October include:

  • IWHP Copeton Waters and IWHP Burrinjuck Waters in the Best Inland Park (more than 100 sites) category
  • NCHP Moonee Beach and NCHP Evans Head are finalists in the Best North Coast Park (more than 100 sites) category
  • SCHP Eden in the Best South Coast Park (more than 100 sites) category

The finalist nod follows Copeton Waters' win in the same category at last year's CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence, with Park Manager David Allan calling it a great motivator for the entire Copeton team to continue their ongoing hard work and dedication to unparalleled customer service.

“The entire staff and management at Copeton are thrilled to again make the CCIA NSW Awards finals,” David said.

“We were fortunate to win this award last year and were also finalists in 2015. Copeton Waters is a dynamic business that my staff and myself take great pride in, this nomination is a team effort and I thank my staff for all their hard work throughout the year.”

NSWCHPT Steve Edmonds called the five finalist nods a great boon for the organisation, saying it was an honour to be recognised by such esteemed industry peers.

“These nominations are a great representation of the hard work and dedication of our park managers and their teams on the ground,” Mr Edmonds said.

“As an organisation we are committed to ensuring all guests to our parks receive an unrivalled level of customer service and we are dedicated to providing that quintessential Aussie camping experience in some of the most amazing locations across NSW.”

Mr Edmonds passed on his best wishes to the five parks and said he looked forward to hearing the results on the night.
