TravMedia's World-renowned International Media Marketplace (IMM) Program Returns to NYC in January 2018

TravMedia

TravMedia's highly anticipated International Media Marketplace “IMM NYC 2018” program, will take over the impressive all-glass River Pavilion, on the top floor of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, when it returns to New York, on January 25, 2018.

“Due to the overwhelming success of our inaugural U.S. event, we have moved to New York's largest special event space, which will allow us to host even more media, as well as a sit-down lunch for 500 IMM delegates.” TravMedia's CEO & Founder, Nick Wayland said.

“For our first ever IMM Advisory Board we have assembled an all-star group of twenty industry heavy-hitters, including editors, Media, and PR Industry Professionals, to help us build upon last year's program,” he added.

Last year's sell-out event, also held the day before the New York Times Travel Show, connected 245 American and Canadian media with 165 PR representatives from 112 travel brands. Collectively they participated in 3,250 pre-scheduled, one-on-one appointments – in addition to more networking opportunities across multiple catered events.

50 top-flight national travel editors were flown in from across North America to join a well-curated list of 150-plus regional media who each conducted 24 fifteen-minute one-on-one meetings throughout the single-day event. Among those in attendance and set to return in 2018; Spud Hilton (Travel Editor at the San Francisco Chronicle), the entire editorial team of National Geographic Traveler, Jennifer Bain (Travel Editor of the Toronto Star), Jim Byers (Courier Mail) and Nancy Trejos (Travel/Hotels Reporter at USA Today), to name drop a few.
