
Marriott International is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Gallop as General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Auckland. Slated to open in December, 2017, Four Points by Sheraton Auckland will be the first Marriott International hotel to open its doors in New Zealand.
As General Manager, Paul will oversee all pre-opening activity, ensuring the hotel opens on schedule and to the highest standard. Upon launch, he will be responsible for the hotel's operations such as recruitment, brand compliance and project management, whilst also managing the hotel's long-term commercial and strategic performance in the New Zealand market.

Paul is a skilled hotelier and General Manager, with 13 years' experience working for a range of hotels across Australia and New Zealand. Paul joins Marriott International from the Grand Millennium Hotel Auckland, which rebranded from the Rendezvous Hotel Auckland in September, 2016, where he held the position of General Manager for over three years.
Prior to this, Paul was the Area General Manager for TFE Hotels in New Zealand, overseeing a portfolio of properties, including the Adina Auckland, Rendezvous Christchurch and Travelodge Wellington. Prior to this, Paul held several General Manager positions with Stamford Hotels in Australia.
As General Manager for Four Points by Sheraton Auckland, Paul will report into Sean Hunt, Area Vice President Australia, New Zealand and Pacific.
