Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced that it will launch its first serviced suites property in Indonesia with the opening of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Jakarta in the capital city by 2020.

Located along Jalan Thamrin, one of the main avenues running through the Central Business District, the 161-unit Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Jakarta will occupy levels 47 to 58 in the North Tower of Indonesia 1, an integrated development by PT China Sonangol Media Investment. Occupying a site area of nearly 19,000 square metres, Indonesia 1 comprises two towers of offices, serviced apartments and commercial space with entertainment and retail offerings designed around a live, work and play concept.

“As one of Asia's fastest-growing economies, Indonesia presents vast business development opportunities and growth potential for the Pan Pacific brand, which is currently being represented by the iconic Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta,” said Mr Lothar Nessmann, Chief Executive Officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, at the signing ceremony for the management of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Jakarta. “The opening of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Jakarta will strengthen our presence and mindshare in this strategic growth market as well as the region.”

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced several other openings this year. Pan Pacific Melbourne opened on 28th July, while Pan Pacific Beijing and Pan Pacific Yangon will debut in their respective Asian cities come September.
