Hyatt Regency Sydney is proud to announce its recent success at the 2017 TAA Accommodation Awards for Excellence (NSW). Awarded Best Conference & Event Venue of the Year and Concierge of the Year in front of industry peers during the prestigious event held at Hyatt Regency Sydney on Thursday 20 July 2017.
The TAA Awards for Excellence showcase the achievements of hoteliers, hospitality professionals and industry leaders throughout New South Wales and celebrates the achievements of many deserving colleagues within the industry.
Upon acceptance of the award Malcolm Zancanaro, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Sydney said “We are truly honored to be a recipient of this prestigious award; it is amazing recognition for an incredibly gifted and passionate team. We are committed to continued innovation and excellence in Conference and Events”.
“We are proud of our finalists in the people awards and to Peter Brown who was again awarded Concierge of the Year. Peter is a leader and role model and truly cares for people so that they can be their best” said Zancanaro.
Since opening in December 2016, Hyatt Regency Sydney has cemented its position as Australia's largest upscale hotel and premier conference and events facility, perfectly located in the CBD adjacent to Darling Harbour.
The hotel was also recognised as a finalist for Metropolitan Deluxe Accommodation of the Year, Redevelopment of the Year, Conference and Events Employee of the Year, Employee Excellence in Service, Hotel Industry Rising Star and Bar of the Year (Deluxe Hotels).
