For example, customers receive a free bottle of bubbly if they book a trip offered by The Coastal Exploration Company, with trips ranging from 3 hours to 4 days including wildlife, foraging – even smuggling trips.

Car hire, bespoke pampering packages, discounts on food and drink are also part of the 'Holiday Extra's range.

According to Norfolk Country Cottages, who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary, more experiences, such as paddleboarding and yoga lessons will continue to be added as the year goes on.

Self-catering properties account for the largest market share of all tourism businesses in East Anglia, 16% of the total market share, followed by guest houses (13%) and hotels (11%).
