Stand by for take-off at Voletarium, Europe's most exciting new attraction. Europa-Park, voted “World's Best Theme Park” gets even better this summer with the debut of Europe's largest Flying Theatre. Like birds on the wing, passengers swoop over Europe's best-loved landmarks, with wind, water and even smells enhancing this thrilling adventure. Also new is the 6,000-seat Europa-Park Arena, an exciting addition to the 100 attractions and shows in the 15 European-themed areas, with their traditional architecture and authentic foods.
New for 2017
In the Voletarium, Europe's largest Flying Theatre, visitors to Germany's largest theme park become explorers for a breath-taking aerial journey across Europe. Their guides are the pioneering aviators, Eckbert and Kaspar Eulenstein. The excitement mounts with the announcement: “Fasten seatbelts; prepare for take-off!” In the two theatres, the 140 passengers who are strapped in to chairlift-style flying machines have the sensation of flying through the air, high above the ground. Projected on huge 21-metre-wide screens, the movie (specially shot by MackMedia) thrills guests, as they fly to, over and around 15 of Europe's most dramatic destinations. With special effects, such as wind, water and even smells, this is a truly unforgettable experience. The Voletarium is the largest single investment for one attraction at Europa-Park in the park's 40 year history.
Discover the Jewels of Europe in one Place
Easy to get to from the UK by air, train or road, Germany's largest theme park offers a tour of Europe in just one day. As well as England and Ireland, the 15 themed areas stretch from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean, with each country's traditional architecture and award-winning cuisine. Guaranteeing fun for all, from families to couples, are the 100 attractions and as many as 23 hours of shows every day. Special events throughout the year include the Summer Party on July 22, 2017, when the rollercoaster action continues through till midnight! With annual highlights such as this, no wonder this is Europe's most popular theme park.
Fun and Relaxation at the Europa-Park Hotels
Where better to stay than on site at the park's five 4-star hotels? The Spanish-themed 'El Andaluz' and 'Castillo Alcazar'; the Italian 'Colosseo'; the Portuguese 'Santa Isabel' and New England-style 'Bell Rock'. For perfect family holidays, romantic breaks or wellness weekends, each hotel offers authentic ambience, along with a choice of high-class restaurants.
Year-Round Leisure
Europa-Park is a four-season destination. Spring delivers new attractions and shows; in the sunny summer months, there are refreshing aquatic attractions. For autumn, the park is decorated with 180,000 pumpkins and delivers ghostly thrills and spooky nights. In winter, Europe's most famous theme park turns into a winter wonderland filled with thousands of snowy Christmas trees and twinkling holiday lights. Wintry attractions include a Christmas market and special holiday shows.
