Four Diamond Hotel Development in Anaheim
Disneyland Resort Reveals Plans for New Hotel: Disneyland Resort has announced the addition of a luxury hotel to their Anaheim collection. It will be the fourth property in the resort and first new build in nearly 20 years. The 700-room, AAA Four Diamond hotel will offer many luxury amenities including two pools, a fitness center, concierge service and a kid's play area. Guests will be able to dine under the fireworks at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the park. The hotel will be located at the north end of the Downtown DisneyÒ parking lot. Construction begins in 2018 with a slated 2021 opening.
Orange County's First JW Marriott Comes to Anaheim: The first Four Diamond hotel outside of the Disneyland Resort will be built adjacent to the Anaheim GardenWalk, located in the heart of the Anaheim Resort district. The 12-story $150 million property will have 466 guest rooms as well as meeting space for large groups.
Luxury Hotel to Replace Anaheim Plaza Hotel & Suites: Located on the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Disney Way, the 580-room property will have two signature restaurants, swimming pools, 50,000 square feet of meeting space and a lounge overlooking the Disneyland Resort. The $208 million hotel is set to open in 2018. The hotel brand for this project has not been announced.
Four Diamond Hotel to be Built Next to Anaheim Convention Center: A $225 million, over 600-room property is set to replace the Anabella Hotel on Katella Ave. Located adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center, the hotel will stand eight stories high with 42,000 square feet of meeting space. Construction begins in early fall 2017 with a slated 2020 opening.

Hampton Inn & Suites Coming to Anaheim Resort: A 178-room hotel within the Anaheim Resort District is set to be built one mile from the Disneyland Resort. The limited-service property will stand five stories and feature a second-level pool deck, breakfast room, meeting room, and fitness room. The property is slated to open summer 2018.
Anaheim's First Westin Property Opens Next Year: Limited-service boutique hotel, Element by Westin, will open in summer 2018 in the Anaheim Resort district. The five-story, 174-room hotel will offer a pool deck with barbecues and lounge chairs, suites and studio rooms, and a fitness center.
Cambria Hotels International Brand Expands to Anaheim: Choice Hotels International will build a Cambria Hotel & Suites in the Anaheim Resort district on the corner of West Katella Ave. and Anaheim Blvd. The new property will have meeting space, a contemporary bistro called Social Circle, and a California-themed outdoor space with a pool and movie screening wall. The 345-room hotel will open in November 2018.
Grand Legacy at the Park Rooftop Bar Now Open to Public: Anaheim's only rooftop bar, The Fifth, is now open to the public. The bar features nightly views of Disneyland Resort fireworks and serves artisan cocktails, craft beer and small plates. Disneyland® Resort to Build Seven Story Parking Structure, Transportation Hub and Pedestrian Bridge: Disney has released details of a new 6,800-space parking structure and transportation hub where buses, shuttles, and taxis can drop-off and pick-up visitors. Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction Coming to Disney California Adventure® Park: An epic new adventure Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT! will replace the recently closed Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and is set to open May 27, 2017. Characters from the blockbuster hit movie will guide guests through an immersive experience set to a playlist inspired by the movie's soundtrack. Disneyland.disney.go.com
Main Street Electrical Parade Returns to Disneyland® Resort: Disney's beloved Main Street Electrical Parade is back until August 20, 2017. The nightly parade will make its way down Main St. with the original floats from 1996. Disneyland.disney.go.com
Disneyland® Adds New Disney MaxPass: Disneyland is adding a new feature to its FastPass system later this year. Unlimited PhotoPass image downloads and the ability to add a FastPass via the park's app. For $10 a day, annual pass holders will have the chance to buy the feature on a daily or yearly basis. Star Wars-Themed Land Coming to Disneyland® Park: Allowing guests to visit “a galaxy far, far away,” Disneyland's Star Wars-themed expansion is currently under construction set to open in 2019. The single largest themed expansion to date, the Star Wars-themed land will feature two jaw-dropping signature attractions a thrilling battle experience and an adventure aboard the Millennium Falcon space ship. Knott's Soak City® to Open Six New Slides this Summer: The first Knott's Soak City expansion project in 10 years features two new water towers: a 165-foot water tower with four slides and a 150-foot tower with two slides. Mixed-Use Project Comes to Anaheim Next to Angel Stadium: The $450 million 15-acre LT Platinum Center adjacent to Angel Stadium will have an outdoor entertainment center, a 26-story hotel, retail space and a 30-story residential tower. The project is set for completion by 2022.
Major Hotel and Mixed-Use Development Coming to Garden Grove: SCG America has begun planning a mixed-use development project located on Harbor Blvd. within the Anaheim Resort district. The development allows a combination of up to three hotels, 39,000 square feet of meeting space, 20,000 square feet of restaurant space and structured parking. Golden Road Brewing Undergoes Massive Expansion: Golden Road Brewing is expanding its facility in a big way. Bottle Logic Brewing Expands Tasting Room and Production Facility: Expansion to Bottle Logic is currently underway. The expansion will double the brewery's size and add an outdoor patio area, as well as private event space. Noble Ale Works' Expansion Triples Footprint: Located within walking distance of Angel Stadium and Honda CenterÒ, this pregame brewery of choice is expanding its current space, adding 10,000 square feet to the beer production facility, including a new 30-barrel brewhouse and expanded tasting room. New House of Blues in Anaheim is the Flagship Venue for all Future Locations: The House of Blues previously located at Downtown DisneyÒ, has moved to a larger venue at the Anaheim GardenWalk. The new venue boasts four stages; a 2,200-capacity main concert hall; a 400-capacity-standing hall; 200-capacity-seated room called the Parish for smaller concerts and special events; and a 175-capacity Foundation Room/VIP Club. Anaheim Breaks Visitor Volume Record for Fourth Year in a Row: In 2016 Anaheim welcomed more than 23 million visitors in 2016 capping a nearly 33 percent visitor growth since 2011. Visitors to Anaheim spent 7.2 percent more in Orange County in 2016 than the previous year, contributing $8.1 billion to the local economy. Over the last five years, total visitor spending jumped 74 percent.
