Terminal Neige-Refuge du Montenvers, Chamonix Valley
The Hotel du Montenvers was built in 1880 to accommodate mountaineers and travellers who came to see the Mer de Glace.
After several months of work, this legendary hotel, renamed Terminal Neige-Refuge du Montenvers, will reopen on 15 June 2017. The Maisons & Hotels Sibuet group has modernised the hotel, while keeping its identity and soul. It can sleep up to 66 people in single rooms, family rooms and 10-bed dormitories.
Guests and visitors can eat at the Restaurant du Montenvers, either in its cosy dining room or on its beautiful terrace facing the impressive 'Drus' peaks.
