Tucan Travel have recently seen a rise in popularity of people wanting to start tours in Kigali, Rwanda rather than in the bigger airport hub of Nairobi on their East Africa tours. This looks set to continue as from the 26th May, Rwandair are launching a direct flight from London Gatwick to Kigali on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The total flight time is 8 hours and 40 minutes meaning travellers can get to Rwanda in the time it takes to do a full day at work.
