Registrations Open for the Tourism Summit 2017

Tourism Noosa has announced details of its inaugural Tourism Summit 2017 to be held in Noosa on Friday 21 April 2017.

Damien Massingham, CEO of Tourism Noosa said the Summit being held in Noosa will be relevant for all industry representatives.

“The Tourism Summit will feature a great line up of high calibre national speakers who will share their insights into the evolving tourism environment with ways to help stimulate stronger tourism growth and ultimately, preparing businesses for the cycles of tourism”.

“Sponsored by Commonwealth Bank, Qantas and Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort and Bookeasy, the day will include industry leaders from companies including Google Australia, Tourism Australia, KPMG, Tasmanian Walking Company, Cummins&Partners and more with Quentin Long, Publisher of Australian Traveller as MC”.

“Topics will cover a wide range of themes including: Venturing into Experiential Tourism; Tourism Australia's strategic and creative direction; Micro-moments that drive destination decisions and how industry can prepare for the next big change in tourism technology”.

“The Tourism Summit will take place on Friday 21 April from 8.30am–5.30pm followed by networking opportunities. Attendees are also invited to Sunset Welcome Drinks on Thursday 20 April with Brett Godfrey at Makepeace Island, co-owned by Brett and Sir Richard Branson” said Mr Massingham.

Tourism Summit costs:

  • Registration for the Tourism Summit includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and closing drinks at the Sofitel Noosa on Friday 21 April at a $125 per ticket. 
  • Sunset Welcome Drinks at Makepeace Island $85 on Thursday 20 April for a limited number of tickets.
