

Guests at Hilton London Metropole can now check in their luggage for their flight directly from the hotel lobby with the ground-breaking new service AirPortr + Bag Check-In, exclusive to British Airways. The service, launched in October by London-based travel technology company AirPortr, allows travellers flying with British Airways to check in their luggage direct from the hotel; the next time they see their bags is on the carousel at their destination airport. The Hilton London Metropole is the first hotel to provide this service via a dedicated AirPortr check-in team at reception.
Perfect for business and leisure travellers alike, the new service allows hotel guests to have their bags checked in and collected before departing the hotel, leaving them free to enjoy their last day in London and make their own luggage-free – and stress-free - way to London Heathrow, London Gatwick or London City Airport. By taking advantage of this innovative new service, guests of Hilton London Metropole flying with British Airways are able to breeze through the airport with the peace of mind of knowing that their bags are in safe hands. The service is particularly useful for guests booked on a late flight, enabling them to make the most of their last day for meetings or sightseeing.
The AirPortr + Bag service costs £30 for a single bag and £10 for each additional bag from Hilton London Metropole to London Heathrow, London Gatwick or London City Airport, with guests of Hilton London Metropole also benefitting from an AirPortr reward rate. AirPortr will check in any item of luggage through to its destination, provided that it is within the passenger's booked airline allowance.
