Upon arrival, guests of The Crane will be offered a taste of local island life as they are greeted with live steel pan entertainment and a bespoke Festival Punch drink; a delicious concoction of rum, lime juice, mango, grenadine and angostura.
The hotel will provide shuttles for guests to key Crop Over hotspots such as, Pan Pun De Sand and Bridgetown Market where visitors can enjoy energetic live entertainment as they browse the traditional Bajan stalls selling food, drink, arts and crafts. The sweetest summer festival climaxes with Grand Kadooment, where guests can embrace the local culture by observing the stunning and elaborate costumes at the carnival show. For guests travelling with children, The Crane will also be commemorating the first anniversary of the resort's Calypso Kids' Club this month. To tie in both celebrations, the hotel will provide children with an array of Bajan-inspired activities, including face painting and guest performances from two of the island's renowned costumed characters; Mother Sally and Green Monkey, plus folk music from a Bajan Tuk Band.
