Once a year Andrea Bocelli, the much loved and globally celebrated Italian tenor, performs in his hometown of Lajatico in a very special concert experience set against a backdrop of ancient vineyards and the stunning scenery of the rolling Tuscan hills. This year the Bocelli family is inviting guests to join them from 28 July 2016 for a 5 night / 4 day Concert Tour, a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Tuscany.

The tour commences with four nights near Siena staying at the beautiful Relais Borgo San Pietro hotel, a restored farmhouse dating from the 17th century set on 7 hectares of lush parkland. http://www.borgosantopietro.com/en/

The welcome dinner at Meo Modo the hotel's Michelin Star restaurant will be a fine dining experience like no other. Set amidst a thriving country estate, Meo Modo has a 'farm to plate' philosophy where raw, simple authentic Tuscan ingredients are combined with award winning culinary skills to produce the finest Tuscan cuisine.

The following days will be filled with leisurely lunches and private wine tastings & tours of both the Antinori family and the Bocelli family wineries. The Antinori family count themselves amongst the oldest wine making families in Italy while the Bocelli family have been making wine since the early 1700s on their vineyards in Tuscany. Andrea's presence is felt throughout his hometown, a village that his family has defined for generations.

On the Saturday evening Bocelli will take to the stage at Teatro Del Silenzio (Theatre of Silence) that he has created with the village of Lajatico as a place to experience the natural beauty of the region through all of the senses. He will perform a repertoire composed of some of the most famous opera arias dedicated to one of the most fascinating and ancient shows of all time - The Circus. "Le Cirque" will be a unique opportunity to experience the magic of an evening of exceptional music from a major symphony orchestra and an extraordinary choir in the Tuscan countryside under the stars.

Following the concert guests will join Andrea, his wife Veronica and their family for dinner at Poggioncino - his home on the family vineyard in the village of Lajatico.

Day 1 - 28 July 2016
Arrive at leisure and check-in at the luxurious Relais Borgo Santo Pietro located near Siena in Tuscany and not far from Florence.  Unwind in the comforts of the hotel before tonight's welcome dinner at the hotel's Michelin Star restaurant. 

Day 2 - 29 July 2016

After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is free to explore the surroundings. The private concierge is available to assist with recommendations. This afternoon enjoy a wine tasting and lunch at the iconic vineyard restaurant of the Antinori family who count themselves amongst the oldest wine making families in Italy.

Day 3 - 30 July 2016
Depart this afternoon for transfer to Lajatico, Andrea Bocelli's hometown.  Arrive at the Bocelli Winery for a private tasting and tour. Transfer from the winery to one of Andrea's favourite restaurants in Lajatico, for an early pre-concert dinner.

Tonight will be a highlight of the stay in Tuscany, with a memorable evening at Teatro Del Silenzio for the concert.

Following the concert, in support of the 'Andrea Bocelli Foundation' guests will join Andrea, his wife Veronica and their family for dinner at Poggioncino - his home on the family vineyard in the village of Lajatico. http://www.andreabocellifoundation.org/ 

Day 4 - 31 July 2016
Breakfast and the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel's facilities and surrounds or enjoy activities recommended by the host.

Day 5 - 01 August 2016
Breakfast at the hotel and checkout by midday. (Arrival and departure transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.)
