Thursday, 2nd June 2016: Pan Pacific Hotels Group has wrapped up its annual Customer Connections Week, recognising the continuous support of their customers and company growth on the agenda. Local and international Pan Pacific Hotels Group representatives met with over 470 clients at a series of events held over five days in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth as well as over 70 face to face client appointments.
A team of 13 Oceania representatives from Perth, Parramatta, Darling Harbour and Melbourne along with 8 International representatives from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and North America met with key corporate, MICE and leisure contacts to share updates on the PARKROYAL and Pan Pacific Hotel brands within a fun and interactive space.
This year, Pan Pacific Hotels Group invited guests to a travel experience unlike any other. Greeted with boarding passes to discover and explore five unique and interactive stations, guests were encouraged to learn about the range of Pan Pacific Hotels Group properties throughout Australia, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia and North America with a chance to win a prize drawn from each region.
Kurt Otto Wehinger, newly appointed Area General Manager Oceania and General Manager PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney spoke about the importance of recognising their customers' continuous support and the new event format for Customer Connections Week this year.

Customer Connections Week is a really important time to connect with and recognise the support of these teams. This year we have taken a different direction for our events to further promote engagement between guests and hotel representatives through an interactive and entertaining environment. During the event series Pan Pacific Hotels Group representatives highlighted the development of the portfolio within Asia Pacific and further abroad, focusing on company growth in Indonesia, Malaysia and London. Within Oceania, this is also a key focus with large-scale refurbishments recently completed at Pan Pacific Perth and plans for PARKROYAL Parramatta due for completion in August this year. The briefing also covered Pan Pacific Hotels Group's continued initiatives to contribute to the wider community through corporate social responsibility innovations and championing local talent within the hospitality industry.
The Sydney event hosted at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney also included an exclusive lunch to welcome in Kurt Otto Wehinger, Area General Manager Oceania and General Manager PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney and to hear of new developments across the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. Within the event, Michael Johnson, General Manager of PARKROYAL Parramatta, spoke about the new $25m extension and renovations of the hotel, whilst Keren Southgate, Area Director of Sales for Pan Pacific Hotels Group, showcased new global updates across the group including new developments in London, Langkawi, Johor and Bogor.
