Taipei, Taiwan (May, 2016) － W Taipei announces the appointment of Ms. Vivian Lin as Hotel Manger who is the first female Hotel Manger of W Hotels in Taiwan.  Ms. Lin is responsible for the hotel's strategy and operations, and she reports directly to the hotel General Manager Mr. Cary Gray. She possesses an impressive 20-year hotel management experience, especially in Food and Beverage.  She entered Starwood Hotels Group in June 2010 as Director of Banquet at W Taipei for the pre-opening project. With the excellence performance, she was promoted as Director of Food and Beverage at Le Royal Méridien Shanghai. Now she has moved back with honor as Hotel Manger of W Taipei.

Ms. Lin graduated from Shih Chien University in Accounting which trained her with a good sense of numbers and reports. After working in a CPA firm, she decided to switch her career path in the hospitality industry as a front desk agent. Then she made a decision to study hotel management at Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland in order to enhance her academic knowledge in the service sector. After completing the degree, she moved back to Taiwan and worked for several renowned hotels which gave her a solid background for the future success. Between the jobs in the hotels, she took a break and prepared for the license of Jewelry Appraisal which let her realize the importance of the acquired efforts for a diamond or human being. With the 200% preparation and acquired efforts, she is confident to achieve her new career goal and W Taipei's financial and operational target as well.
