Kuoni Travel Limited

From Costa Rica to Nicaragua and India to South Africa, worldwide holiday company Kuoni UK's latest 2017 escorting touring brochure, Journeys features new solo departures, small groups on all tours, guaranteed departures and unique experiences such as dinner with a royal family.

Solo travellers can now enjoy a selection of dedicated departures on some of Kuoni's most popular itineraries with other like-minded people looking for an affordable and sociable experience, with the added comfort of their own room. Some of the solo departures include the Cheetah Safari in Kenya, Highlights of Sicily, Italy and the Taj Tour – Highlights of India.

New to Kuoni is Nicaragua and its beautiful city of Granada with its colonial-era architecture, Masaya Volcano National Park, lakes and lagoons; all of which can be found on the 16-night Central America Panorama that also takes in the incredible scenery in Costa Rica and the Panama Canal – one of the most famous modern wonders of the world.

All escorted tours are based on small groups, most with no more than 16 people and local tour leaders that can share first-hand destination insight for a more interactive and personalised experience.

“Having smaller group sizes allows for flexibility, more unique experiences and sightseeing in an alternative way, such as the Taj Mahal where often you can only see it at sunrise or sunset - on Kuoni tours you can see it at both”, says Claire Ross, Commercial & Product Manager for Journeys.

She added, “We have also removed a common barrier to sale on our group tours, which often need a minimum number of participants to operate – all of our 2017 departures are guaranteed to run no matter the group size, so our customers can have peace of mind that regardless of how early they book, they will be travelling on their tour.”

Some of the unique experiences that can be found include dinner with one of Udaipur's royal families on the Jewels of Northern India, a cooking safari that includes a hands-on cooking session and lunch with a local family on all tours in Cape Town, South Africa and a farm visit on the new Costa Rica Explorer visiting sugarcane and pineapple plantations, learning about their cultivation in harmony with nature.

Private tours are also available at a supplement, ideal for honeymooners looking for an intimate experience and additional flexibility; they can pick a departure date that suits them and have their own local tour leader for the duration of the tour.
