Kuala Lumpur, 3 December 2015: Cameron Highlands Resort was filled with joy and carols during the recently-concluded annual Christmas Tree Lighting weekend at Cameron Highlands Resort . Staying true to the resort's tagline of 'Trails, Tales & Traditions', the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was celebrated for the ninth year with splendour that included the reveal of the delectable Christmas Eve dinner menu.

Guests that graced the special weekend included the members of the media from Malaysia and Singapore and Guest of Honour – Ms Carey Ng, Miss Universe Malaysia 2013.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony began in the evening with festive themed cocktails at the Highlands Bar, specially crafted for the season by Cocktail Solutions. Guests then gathered at the front porch of the resort for a welcome speech by the resort manager, Mr Terence Waller. Carey was invited to turn on the lights that adorned the Norwegian Pine trees that lined the front of the resort. Guests took in the spectacular view of the beautifully lit resort, accompanied with 'Joy To The World' performed by Verses choir group from Kuala Lumpur. Christmas dinner was then served in the warm and cosy Dining Room followed by more caroling by the piano with the Resident Pianist, and night caps at the Jim Thompson Tea Lounge.
