Pioneering polar tour operator Quark Expeditions® is pleased to announce the release of its 2016/17, 25th anniversary brochure for adventure travellers.

In addition to a diverse collection of Arctic and Antarctic expeditions, the brochure now showcases the new Explorers' Collection, a curated selection of Quark's most unique expeditions to some of the world's most remote destinations.

Passengers in 2016/17 can circumnavigate the Arctic aboard a massive icebreaker, or explore the famed Galapagos Islands on a small expedition boat.

This season also offers an epic Arctic Icebreaker Expedition: Arctic Circumnavigation, giving passengers the chance to retrace polar exploration history. Taken as four separate voyages, or one 75-day adventure, passengers will explore the historic Northwest Passage, the Northeast Passage, the Canadian High Arctic and the extreme north of Greenland on board the Kapitan Khlebnikov, one of the most powerful icebreakers in the world.

Three new itineraries in the Falklands and Galapagos Islands aboard small exploration boat Hans Hansson let explorers walk in the footsteps of Charles Darwin:

• Intimate Antarctica & Falklands: Bespoke Expeditions by Small Boat invites exploration of remote areas of Antarctica and the Falkland Islands.
• Galapagos Expedition: Darwin's Playground, Central & North brings passengers up close with the iconic wildlife of the remote islands.
• On Galapagos Expedition: Darwin's Playground, Far West, interact with wildlife through activities including hiking, sea kayaking and snorkeling.

For Antarctic explorers, the brochure offers a wide range of expeditions, including the popular Antarctic Express fly/cruise voyages for travelers with time limitations. Adventure travelers are invited to learn more about the Explorers' Collection in a series of videos, and can download or pre-order a copy online.

For bookings taken before January 15, 2016, passengers can also take advantage of the Early Booking Bonus on select 2016/17 Arctic and Antarctic expeditions, for savings of up to 25%.​
