First leased property caps two-year rapid growth for leading

Siem Reap, CAMBODIA, November 2015 – Local hotel and hospitality management group, Asia Initiative Corporation (AIC) has celebrated its second birthday with the signing of a nine-year lease on the 12-room luxury The Sanctuary Villa Battambang.

The hotel features intimate modern andtraditional décor in a relaxed tropical setting with an outdoor/indoor restaurant beside its saltwater pool and massage booth.  It is strategically located in Cambodia's second largest city, founded in the 11th century, which has been earmarked for tourism development based on stunning French colonial architecture, heritage and attractions including the Bamboo Train Station, ancient temples and khmer heritage houses.

According to AIC co-founder and VP of marketing & business development, Mr Kelly Chan Dara, signing a long term on the hotel enables AIC to commit significant resources and staff to realise its potential in a key market for Cambodia tourism, growing at 18% annually.
