First Street Signs for the Grand Tour of Switzerland

Switzerland Tourism

Half a year after the launch of the Grand Tour of Switzerland the first official road signs were put up this month. In total 650 Grand Tour road signs will be mounted at strategic crossings. This enables guests to easily find their way around the 1000-mile long tour through Switzerland passing by all the must-sees of the country. Further more, the first guidebook specifically on the Grand Tour of Switzerland will be available commercially at the beginning of 2016.

The brand new self-driving route, the Grand Tour of Switzerland, was launched in summer 2015. Capturing the best that Switzerland has to offer, the new route has been designed to highlight the 'must-sees' of Switzerland. Spanning 1,000 miles, the Grand Tour of Switzerland passes through the country's four language regions, by 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites, along 22 lakes and over five mountain passes.
