Tennis lovers looking to finish the 2015 season with a flourish can do so under sunny skies at Spain's La Manga Club this December when the award-winning sports and leisure resort hosts the 13th edition of the popular La Manga Club Seniors' Tennis Open.
An established part of the tennis calendar for amateurs across Europe, players can take advantage of outstanding value at Europe's leading sports venue this winter, with tournament packages available from just €307 (£220 approx) per person for a five-night stay including tournament entry.
Competition is expected to be as fierce as ever when the event takes place from from November 29 to December 4, with the tournament an official Grade Two International Tennis Federation seniors' tournament.
Players will compete at La Manga Club's 28-court academy in a variety of singles and doubles competitions, ranging from over-35 to over-75 categories for men and over-35 to over-65 age groups for ladies, with a selection of luxury tennis and leisure breaks and tennis equipment to be won.
Tournament packages feature five nights' accommodation including breakfast, a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony and are available from just €387 (£275 approx) per person in the five-star Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe, or only €307 per person in the fully-serviced four-star Las Lomas apartments.
Prices, which are based on two people sharing a room, include entry into two tournaments and free Wi-Fi and resort shuttle bus, while all tournament guests will receive a 25 per cent discount on any spa treatments booked and savings of 15 per cent when eating at any of the resort's Amapola, Asia, Luigi's and La Bodega restaurants and Deli-Café.
In addition, guests will also enjoy complimentary access to Spa La Manga Club's fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms, while free meals are available to children under five and free accommodation is on offer to youngsters under 12 when sharing with parents.
Running alongside the tennis event, La Manga Club is also hosting the 15th La Manga Club Golf Open from December 1-5, with both competitions helping to confirm the award-winning sports and leisure venue's reputation as Spain's flagship resort.
The official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), La Manga Club also extended its long-term partnership with Tennis Europe until 2017 earlier this year and has been at the forefront of European tennis for the last four decades, hosting a galaxy of the world's top stars including British number ones Andy Murray and Heather Watson.
As well as regularly hosting members of the LTA's elite squads, the resort's other recent highlights include being named Spain's Best Golf Hotel at the 2014 World Golf Awards and being voted by readers of Today's Golfer magazine as the best golf resort in Spain for the last four years.
