Ski and Outdoor Activity Holidays in the Summer With Snoworks

Snoworks

After one of the best finishes to a winter season in years, the conditions high up in the Alps are still ideal for skiing.

Most areas have now closed down for the summer, but many, such as the Tignes glacier, will re-open for summer skiing – and it's not all slush and rubble.

Skiing in the summer high up above 2,500 meters in the Alps can often mean fresh snow and winter-like skiing conditions. It's the perfect time to perfect technique when accommodation prices are considerably lower than in the winter ski season.

Starting on July 4th and running right the way through the month, Snoworks are running ski courses for intermediate skiers and above on the glacier in Tignes. During the start of the summer school holidays there's also Junior Race clinics taking place for kids who want to get used to skiing slalom gates.

The popular All-Terrain course is also available in July – want to improve your all mountain skills? Ski steeper slopes, moguls and variable terrain and really open your skiing up to the possibilities of leaving the prepared runs.

All-Terrain – July 4th, July 11th, 7 nights, 5 half days skiing with a Snoworks instructor.
