Sailcorp Yacht Charters is launching a sunset and Vivid Sydney lights cruise to coincide with the festival launch on Friday 22nd May 2015.

“We are very excited to be offering a sunset and Vivid Sydney lights sail this year, allowing people to enjoy the spectacular light show from the water and away from the crowded harbour foreshores” said Fraser Vickers, Managing Director of Sailcorp.

“Our skippers will ensure our guests have the best seat on the harbour when it comes to experiencing Vivid Sydney including the spectacular Opera House and all the amazing exhibits and installations along the foreshore. We will also show off Sydney Harbour in its best light, sailing past the iconic Sydney Harbour sights at dusk up to Fort Denison and back to Goat Island, watching the Sydney city lights come to life” said Mr Vickers.

With more than 10 years of experience with spectacular Sydney Harbour events, Sailcorp prides itself on offering guests a boutique and intimate experience with guest numbers limited to 20 people per boat. Operating out of Lavender Bay in the shadow of the Harbour Bridge, the stunning harbour views start before guest even step onto the boat.

“Our boats are getting dressed in their fairy lights, we are perfecting the mulled wine recipe and have already mapped our route to give our guests the best view of a perfect Sydney Harbour sunset and the Vivid Sydney light show” said Mr Vickers.

Vivid Sydney is a unique annual event of light, music and ideas and the spectacular illumination of Sydney's iconic architecture including the sails of Sydney Opera House. More than one million people are expected to converge on Sydney's CBD over the festival period.
