Flight Centre UK, the leading independent retailer of scheduled airlines and worldwide travel services, has launched a moving short film to showcase 'The Big Aussie Reunion'; a global campaign that saw 80 friends and family reunited for a week on the Gold Coast of Queensland.

Organised in association with Tourism and Events Queensland, Virgin Australia and Etihad Airlines, the seven day reunion culminated in the 'Big Aussie Beach Party'. Hosted by Flight Centre UK and Tourism and Events Queensland, the fun-filled event saw the winners and their loved ones celebrate Australia Day on the stunning shore of Rainbow Bay.

Since launching in October, 'The Big Aussie Reunion', inspired over 1,400 entrants to tell their personal stories about the friends and relatives they dreamt of visiting. The campaign was created to encourage UK travellers to experience their very own holiday reunion Down Under.

The short film showcases incredible moments including the end to a 38-year search to find a father, just in time to celebrate his 70th birthday; best friends coming together for the first time in 26-years; and twin brothers seeing their other half again.
