I am Writer/ Photographer, Lizane Louw.
I work as a freelance multimedia journalist and photographer. I am a visual journalism researcher with a master's degree in journalism.
My passion for photography, adventure and the outdoors inspires my work and projects. I travel often and enjoy immersing myself in cultural experiences.
My work in journalism covers travel, culture, environment, and sustainability when on the road in Europe and Africa. In addition, I write about photography, photographic work, art, and exhibitions when I am based in Berlin.
As a travel, culture and nature photographer, my work focuses on the environment, sustainability, and the human experience.
I am a multimedia specialist, skilled and experienced in visual journalism, photography, photojournalism, feature writing, news reporting, design, multimedia journalism and documentary filmmaking.
Travelling and adventure is my life. I have travelled extensively over the past 23 years. I have explored over 60 countries and worked and lived in South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, South Africa, Namibia, the UK, Israel, Spain, the US and Canada. I also was privileged to give journalism lectures in India.
